Audit Manager – Public Accounting (CPA Required)

• $120,000 to $150,000 + Bonus & Benefits
• Hybrid
• Several office locations in the Greater Chicago Area

We are working with a highly regarded CPA firm that is looking to bring on an Audit Manager to their growing practice. This is a great opportunity for a driven professional who enjoys building client relationships, leading teams, and delivering high quality audit services.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead audit engagements for a diverse client base across multiple industries

• Manage and develop staff, providing coaching and performance feedback

• Serve as the primary contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships

• Review workpapers, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance

• Partner with leadership on engagement planning, budgeting, and resource management

• Ensure audits are completed on time, within scope, and with excellent client service

What We’re Looking For:

• Active CPA license (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 4+ years of progressive audit experience in public accounting

• Prior supervisory or managerial experience strongly preferred

• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and auditing standards

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
