Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage and maintain the standard cost system, ensuring accuracy across new and existing items.
- Conduct margin and product cost analysis to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Perform inventory and fixed asset analysis, maintaining data integrity.
- Assist in annual budget preparation and lead various cost and expense analysis projects.
- Oversee local compliance reports and manage State Sales & Use Tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in standard costing and advanced Excel skills.

- Manage and analyze the standard cost system, updating standard costs on new and existing items while maintaining accuracy in plant-wide cost updates.
- Conduct detailed margin and product cost analysis to drive process improvements and informed decision-making.
- Handle inventory and fixed asset analysis, ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and work on various cost and expense analysis projects.
- Prepare local compliance reports and oversee State Sales & Use Tax filings.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 4 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in standard costing and strong Excel skills.
