Senior Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant 
Location: Greater Dallas - Hybrid
Compensation: $95,000 DOE + Bonus

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client’s growing corporate accounting team. Partnering with the CFO and VP of Finance, you will play a key role in preparing financial statements to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, developing processes and procedures, and supporting internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure proper classification and recording.
• Assist in developing and refining accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee fixed assets, lease schedules, and collaborate with AR/AP teams.
• Support internal controls, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to various accounting projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-6 years of experience in audit, financial reporting and general ledger accounting.
• CPA certification or CPA designation in progress.
• Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
