Senior Manager, Finance Operations

$140,000 to $160,000 + Bonus

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Operations to take the lead in shaping financial strategies, optimizing performance, and driving excellence across domestic and international manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on cost accounting principles to ensure consistency across all manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Inventory Management teams to deliver actionable insights on manufacturing variances, gross margins, and excess/obsolete inventory.
- Partner with the VP of Operations to craft and execute a manufacturing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Standardize and elevate KPI analysis and reporting to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly financial results to senior leadership, offering clear insights and recommendations.
- Spearhead cost management initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost reductions and operational efficiencies.
- Oversee forecasting and budgeting processes for manufacturing facilities and operational overhead departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in management roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. GAAP and cost accounting.
- Manufacturing industry experience is essential.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong skills in financial modeling, variance analysis, and strategic planning.
