AR/AP Specialist

Job Title: AP/AR Specialist
Location: Chicago, IL (Near Midway)
Pay Range: $26/HR-$31/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an AP/AR Specialist with our client located in Chicago, IL. Our client is a well-established manufacturing organization who specializes in producing high quality steel and shelving cabinets. They are looking for an AP/AR Specialist to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The AP/AR Specialist will primarily be focused on performing transactional accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Additionally, this AP/AR Specialist will assist with some month end responsibilities.  The ideal candidate for this role will be able to interview and start shortly after.


AP/AR Specialist Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle AR responsibilities
• Handle collections on past due accounts
• Receive and apply payments to customer accounts
• Track and monitor AR aging reports
• Navigate through vendor web portals
• Process AP invoices in a 3 way match environment
• Handle invoice issues by communicating with vendors
• Assist with special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required, including financial and individual account analysis
• Other duties as assigned

• Vendor Poral experience REQUIRED
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Excel proficiency (v-look ups and pivot tables)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
