Billing Specialist

Brilliant Financial Staffing is in search for a Billing Specialist with our client in the professional service industry. This role is in Schaumburg, IL and is currently experiencing an uptick in business. This Billing Specialist would be hired on an open-ended contract basis for a minimum of 3 months with potential to go longer. This Billing Specialist would primarily be responsible creating complex invoices to send out to customers. The Billing Specialist would need to have excellent analytical skills, as these invoices require detail. The ideal Billing Specialist candidate will be able to interview as soon as possible and start immediately after.

Billing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Create and generate complex invoices within Excel to bill customers
• Assist customers with questions regarding their billing discrepancies
• Research and resolve billing issues
• Issue refunds and charge backs to customer accounts
• Check and apply payments after receipt is received
• Review breakdowns of payment/revenue

Billing Specialist Qualifications:

• 3+ years of billing experience preferred
• Proficiency with Pivot Table and V-look up functions within Excel
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
