Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage and analyze the standard cost system, updating standard costs on new and existing items while maintaining accuracy in plant-wide cost updates.
• Conduct detailed margin and product cost analysis to drive process improvements and informed decision-making.
• Handle inventory and fixed asset analysis, ensuring data integrity across systems.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and work on various cost and expense analysis projects.
• Prepare local compliance reports and oversee State Sales & Use Tax filings.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 4 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in standard costing and strong Excel skills.
• A self-starter who thrives in a trusted, autonomous work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills,
