Accounting Manager

Role: Accounting Manager - Manufacturing
Compensation: $115,000 to $125,000 + Bonus

Our client is a global manufacturing company who is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the financial close and reporting processes for the U.S. subsidiary. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will ensure compliance with US GAAP, maintain robust internal controls, and collaborate with global teams to drive financial excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion on a monthly reporting calendar.
• Assist in designing and implementing a robust internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial statements.
• Collaborate with the Controller to establish global accounting policies and practices for consistency and compliance.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, supporting the completion of audited financial statements.
• Research and document complex accounting matters, ensuring adherence to US GAAP standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of professional experience in corporate finance or public accounting.
• Industry experience in manufacturing
• Previous roles such as Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or Senior Financial Analyst in businesses with revenues exceeding $100 million.
• Expertise in US GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle JDE experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated history of increasing responsibility and experience managing finance teams.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
