Accounting Manager – Manufacturing
$115k,000 to $125k,000 + Bonus

Are you a results-oriented finance professional with experience in manufacturing? We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the financial close and reporting processes for a U.S.-based organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will ensure compliance with US GAAP, maintain robust internal controls, and collaborate with global teams to drive financial excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion on a monthly reporting calendar.
  • Assist in designing and implementing a robust internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to establish global accounting policies and practices for consistency and compliance.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, supporting the completion of audited financial statements.
  • Research and document complex accounting matters, ensuring adherence to US GAAP standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA designation or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in corporate finance or public accounting.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing required, with a preference for businesses producing capital equipment.
  • Previous roles such as Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or Senior Financial Analyst in businesses with revenues exceeding $100 million.
  • Expertise in US GAAP accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Oracle JDE experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of increasing responsibility and experience managing finance teams.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to prepare and analyze financial reports, data sets, and models.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across global operations, including in the U.S., Switzerland, and China.
