Accounts Payable Clerk

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Our client, located in North Aurora, IL, is a well-established manufacturing company who specializes in audiovisual displays. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their department on a contract basis. This organization has seen a lot of new business come in over the last year so they need an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their organization. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager and would ideally be able to interview and then start shortly after.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and vouchering 75 to 100 daily invoices
• Researching and resolving any payment discrepancies
• Working with 3 other accountants to provide necessary data for monthly close (no reconciling accounts)
• Reaching out to customers via email and monitoring AP inbox daily
• Some clerical filing tasks and ad hoc tasks upon request of the team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of AP experience, understand how to process in a 2-way or 3-way match environment
• Must have data entry skills and strong attention to detail
• Intangibles: Ability to take direction well and work closely with others
