Senior Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant 
Location: Great Dallas - Hybrid
Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 + Bonus

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has a strong foundation in financial reporting and month-end close processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial statements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure proper classification and recording.
• Assist in developing and refining accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversee fixed assets, lease schedules, and collaborate with AR/AP teams.
• Support internal controls, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to various accounting projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger accounting.
• Public accounting experience (minimum 2 busy seasons in audit at a national or regional firm).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• CPA certification or active CPA track preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
