Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with our client located near Addison, IL. This client, operating in the manufacture industry, is looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary basis to assist in company clean up and get up to date with their accounts. This is a standalone role, and the Bookkeeper would report directly into the Accounting Manager. The individual would ideally be able to interview as soon as possible and begin shortly there after.

Bookkeeper Role and Responsibilities:

  • Sort and process 100+ invoices per week
  • Apply customer payments via ACH and wire, and work with a lockbox
  • Check online bank balances through multiple portals
  • Apply credit and debit memos
  • Create sale orders into system
  • Perform bank account reconciliations
  • Assist in month end close process by compiling financial data
  • Assist with billing and inventory adjustments

Bookkeeper Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of well-rounded Accounting experience
  • MUST HAVE Microsoft Dynamics 365 and is required
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
