Location: Aurora, IL (Onsite)
Salary: $110,000 to $140,000

The Corporate Accounting Manager will lead the accounting team, oversee financial close processes, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and expertise in corporate accounting within a manufacturing setting (without cost accounting responsibilities).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and professional development.
- Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and leadership teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Implement and improve internal controls to enhance financial integrity and operational efficiency.
- Assist with ERP system upgrades and process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
