Our client, a growing mid-size sales and distribution company, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager
This is a hybrid role offering excellent work-life balance
The ideal candidate will report directly to senior leadership and will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions of the globally operating company.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Partner with the external CPA firm to manage tax planning, compliance, and filings.
• Analyze and manage Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to ensure proper cost accounting and profitability analysis.
• Oversee inventory accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy in inventory valuation and cost allocations.
• Provide leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support the company’s growth objectives.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of inventory and COGS accounting.
• Previous experience in a mid-size company, preferably in the sales and distribution sector.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Ability to work in-office with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
