Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for an Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist for our Chicagoland area client in the manufacturing industry. The AP/AR Specialist will be brought in on a temporary-to-hire basis and report directly to the Controller. This role is fully on site in their Bloomingdale office.

Responsibilities:

• Invoicing, posting cash via ACH and resolving cash receipt discrepancies
• Entering adjustments for pay discounts
• Sending account statements to clients
• Managing the AP inbox and entering invoices into the system (Epicor)
• Working with vendors regarding any invoice discrepancies
• Coordinating future payments with customers

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting preferred
• 3+ years of Accounts Payable AND Accounts Receivable experience preferred
• Knowledge of ERP software (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft suite of products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
