Lead Accountant - Corporate Segment
Corporate Accounting Supervisor | Hybrid
? Location: Chicago, IL
? Salary: $130,000–$145,000 + Annual Bonuses

Our client, a global leader in financial services, is seeking a Corporate Accounting Supervisor to join their team. This organization thrives on technology and innovation, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will oversee key accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Manage lease accounting, equity compensation, investments, debt, and hedging.
- Conduct research and documentation for emerging accounting issues.
- Support financial forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis for complex accounting areas.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and SEC filing schedules.
- Partner with external auditors and internal teams to maintain SOX compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- 5+ years of experience (public accounting background preferred)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance
- Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
