Join our client as the Senior Manager, Finance Operations and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a global manufacturing leader. This is a strategic leadership role designed for a dynamic finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll oversee cost accounting, drive financial strategy, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize performance across domestic and international plants.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical guidance to ensure consistent application of cost accounting principles across all manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Inventory Management to deliver insights on manufacturing variances, gross margin, and excess/obsolete inventory.
• Partner with the VP of Operations to develop and implement a manufacturing strategy aligned with company goals.
• Standardize and improve the analysis and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly financial results to senior leadership.
• Drive cost management and productivity initiatives, identifying and measuring cost reductions and operational efficiency improvements.
• Oversee forecasting and budgeting processes for all facilities and operational overhead departments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in management .
• Proven expertise in U.S. GAAP
• Manufacturing industry experience i
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong experience in cost accounting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
