Compensation: $120,000 to $150,000 DOE + Bonus

Are you an experienced tax professional looking for the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established public accounting firm, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, lead engagements, and contribute to a collaborative and growth-focused environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and complete tax engagements in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and review complex individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate income tax returns.
  • Oversee communication with clients, ensuring excellent service and providing guidance to team members.
  • Manage correspondence with federal, state, and local tax authorities to address inquiries, audits, and proposed adjustments.
  • Analyze engagements to identify key technical focus areas and implement procedural improvements as needed.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development and technical expertise.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service, upholding ethical standards, and contributing to a positive team culture.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • CPA certification required.
  • 6+ years of experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on tax compliance and consulting.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and fiduciaries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Experience leading engagements and mentoring junior staff.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
