Investment Accounting Consultant

Our client is looking for a consultant to support the Director of Financial Reporting with Statutory (STAT) Reporting, specifically their Schedule D investment accounting form. They are looking to have a consultant dedicate time to ensure they do not miss the regulatory filing on 11/15.  This opportunity is fully remote. 

• Assist with statutory regulatory reporting for Q3 2020 due 11/15/20, specifically, with the completion of the Schedule D reporting. They have three filings for their legal entities STIC (States Title Insurance Company), STICoC (States Title Insurance Company of California) and NATIC (North American Title Insurance Company).
• Resource must be experienced with investment accounting, specifically, someone who knows how to account for and record bonds, stocks, etc. and then would know how to report this information on Form D.
• Will need to extract data from Investment system called Clear Water.
• Ideally this resource would be experienced in statutory investment accounting. 

Requirements:

• Insurance STAT, Schedule D experience - all insurance companies have to file this form whether Dental, Property & Casualty, Life, Health, Reinsurance, Title, etc. 
• Investment software exp, ideally Clear Water but not must have
• Ability to step into role, ramp up quickly and ensure deliverable is met
