Senior Accountant
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Gurnee, IL - Mostly Remote
Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 + Bonus & Benefits
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's team to support the accuracy and integrity of their financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work in a mostly remote environment while contributing to a collaborative team and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

Manage month-end and year-end close processes

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements

Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls

Provide support for special projects and management reporting
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
CPA or CPA track preferred
-
3+ years of accounting experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (experience with [ERP name] preferred)

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
