Technical Accounting Manager
Associate Director, Technical Accounting
Chicago, IL Hybrid
Compensation: $140,000-160,000+Bonus

Responsibilities:
• Prepare technical accounting memos for complex transactions, ensuring U.S. GAAP & SEC compliance
• Partner with Segment Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Treasury teams on accounting matters
• Manage quarterly technical accounting memo tracking with segment and corporate functions
• Work closely with external auditors on significant transactions
• Support M&A activities, including due diligence, purchase accounting, and impairment assessments
• Coordinate valuation work with third-party valuation firms
• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and update global accounting policies
• Assist in goodwill impairment assessments and other transactional accounting matters
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience with technical accounting and M&A exposure
• CPA required
• Big 4 or National firm public accounting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
