Part-Time Accounting Clerk

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Accounting Clerk with our client located in Westmont, IL. Our client is a mid-sized mechanical company who has been established for many years. They currently are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their organization to assist them in multiple areas within their department. This role will also be PART TIME in the afternoons, starting at 12:30PM, 20-25 hours per week. The ideal candidate would be available to interview and then start shortly after in order to be given proper training. This Accounting Clerk will be hired on a temporary to permanent basis and be reporting to the Accounting Manger.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

• Billing: Macola (billing system) orders are selected for billing and posted daily. EDI processes are completed for certain high-volume customers.

• Invoice data is entered, or file uploaded on certain customer web sites.

• Invoices are sent via email or US Mail as necessary.

• Credit memos are created for product returns, coop expenses, rebates, special promotions or other billing adjustments.

• Deviated price and/or cost adjustments are created for certain customers. Procedures are maintained.

• Monitor daily accounting inbox and forward to appropriate parties.

• Process credit card payments for customers.

Accounting Clerk Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills and must be a team player
• Intermediate Excel, does not need to know Pivot Tables or VLOOKUPs
• System - Macola is nice to have, not required
• Must be able to adapt to change as your daily tasks will be different everyday
